1. Introduction
Welcome to Motivation Tab. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Motivation Tab browser extension and associated website. By installing the extension or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read these terms carefully before using the service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Motivation Tab service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are accessing the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
3. Description of Service
Motivation Tab is a browser extension that replaces your new tab page with a live age counter and personalised themes. The service is available as a free tier and as paid subscription plans with additional features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
4. User Accounts
Some features of the service require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.
5. Subscription Plans and Payments
Motivation Tab offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
All prices are in EUR (€) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. If you disagree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for the remaining portion of a billing period.
We may issue refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge.
7. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We store your date of birth locally on your device and in the cloud (for Pro users) solely to power the age counter feature. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Motivation Tab service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Motivation Tab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motivation Tab disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall Motivation Tab be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
